Some are starting to add a drive-thru to their stores where possible, but it may be too little, too late.
Additionally, the very high calorie counts of their products are forcing them to adjust menus to accomodate knowledgeable customers. They are demanding healthier alternatives, delivered faster and more conveniently.

The Automation of Food Prep
Each flavor ingredient is segmented in a chilled Automated Ingredient Mixing System (AIMS) and dispensed based on the menu ingredient list in the restaurant software system.
Because of the wide variety of ingredients available, menu additions are as easy as programming a new combination in the software and pushing it out to the units. Combined with an automated sign system, nearly everything within the unit can be either automated or controlled from a central IT hub.
